Before initiating the transfer it is important to make sure that the contact information for your domain is up to date. It is especially important that your email contacts are correct, as all correspondance will be done via email. To see your contacts simply go to our Whois Search and type in the domain name you wish to transfer.

If your contact email addresses are not current you will need to update them at your current registrar before initiating the transfer. After you update the email addresses you should wait at least 24 hours before submitting the transfer.

1. To submit your transfer simply go to Begin Transfer and type in the domain name you wish to transfer. Please fill out the form on the folowing page.

2. Please expect to receive one email confirmation from Dotster.com and one email confirmation sent by Namesonic.com. They will both be sent to the domain registrant’s email address.

3. For the email confirmation sent by Namesonic simply click on the link provided in the email and you will be taken to a separate webpage. Click accept to proceed with the transfer.
For the email sent by Dotster.com scroll down to the bottom of the email and click on the link that they have provided you with. Simply follow the instructions on their page to transfer your domain.

4. Your domain transfer will be completed in 2-3 days. After the transfer is complete you will be able to enjoy much lower pricing and higher levels of customer service.
